Hot Pickin 57s Selected to the 2026–2028 Texas Touring Roster
We're thrilled to share some big news: we've been selected to the Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) Texas Touring Roster for 2026–2028 — one of only 153 artists and arts companies chosen across the entire state.
The Touring Roster is the TCA's juried list of performing and teaching artists. According to TCA, roster artists have been "deemed the best in their field by a panel of statewide experts." For us, it's both an honor and an opportunity because it changes what we can offer communities across Texas.
Here's what it means for those presenting concerts and programs. If you're a Texas nonprofit, school, college, library, senior center, city park, or unit of government, your organization may now be eligible for TCA grant funds to help bring us to your community — covering up to 50% of our booking fee. That makes a live bluegrass, classic country, and Americana performance far more attainable for the kinds of organizations that bring people together.
And we can bring more than a concert. As a roster act, we also offer educational and interactive programming — a great fit for schools, libraries, and senior centers looking to pair entertainment with a little history of the music.
